9-11-11 As I consider the terrorist attacks of 9-11-01 there are a few lessons that we can learn. Published in Gainesville Sun Newspaper on 10 year anniversary of attacks.

1. Ideas are important, false ideas lead to death and destruction.
2. Whatever one's religion, our actions preach louder than our words.
3. While some will die to take life, others will die to save life, in all our dying, may we only die "so that others may live". Thank you 911 Heroes for your example.
4. Some people build up while others destroy. Let's be part of the builders, the one's with a positive solution.
5. These tragedies underscore our biblical hope in the immanent return of the Messiah, Jesus Christ,
to rescue humanity from this place of woe and pain. Until then, may we live to bring hope, peace
and grace to each other.
